USB-C Mode on Pico 4 (BETA)

**Please note the following:

  • USB-C cable needs to support  data + power and NOT support high throughput (E.g. Preferably 480mb/s and NOT 5Gbps+). If you need a cable, here is one we recommend.
  • Make sure to plug your headset into your computer before your start the Immersed VR app.
  • While screen contents are streamed via USB-C to computer, both headset and computer still require a Wi-Fi & internet connection at launch.

Enable Developer Mode (headset)

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select General
  3. Scroll to the Software Version menu item and select this eight times (yes, you read that correctly). Once selected eight times, the Developer menu item should appear in the left hand menu.
  4. Select Developer
  5. Toggle on USB debugging, if it is not already enabled by default.

Run the Immersed Desktop Agent

In Settings > Advanced > USB Wired Mode make sure the Quest 2 or Quest Pro is checked BEFORE starting up the Immersed VR app

You'll know you're successfully using USB mode when USB prefix is shown before your computer name when screens are connected in the Immersed VR menu > Computers Tab
